Israeli PM Naftali Bennett tests COVID positive ahead of India visit



Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett tried positive for COVID-19 on Monday, as per his media counsel. Bennett, 50, was booked to visit India from April 3 to 5. It isn’t yet known whether the visit will be canceled.

“The Prime Minister is feeling great and will keep on telecommuting,” an assertion from his office said.

“Bennett will hold a situational appraisal earlier today on final evening’s dread assault with the support of Defense Minister Benny Gantz, Internal Security Minister Omer Barlev, Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Aviv Kohavi, Shin Bet boss Ronen Bar, police boss Kobi Shabtai and different authorities,” it said.Bennett went to a gathering in Hadera, the site of the fear assault in which two Israeli line cops were killed and hardly any others harmed on Sunday yet was seen wearing a cover in the authoritatively delivered photo.
