Cyclone Asani: Parts of Andaman experience rain, strong winds

North and Middle Andamans experienced downpour and solid breezes however life in Port Blair stayed ordinary, they said.

“The previous Well checked Low strain region increased into a downturn over southeast Bay of Bengal and abutting south Andaman Sea at 0530 IST of today the twentieth March 2022. To heighten further into a Deep Depression during next 24 hours,” the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a Twitter post on Sunday.
